Gas consumption rate

Gas consumption rate
is a fluctuation in the amount of natural gas consumed during a given time interval (day, week, year, etc.) The cities’ gas supply systems are constructed in compliance with specially developed projects, based on the annual gas consumption by each consumer, calculated according to the established specific heat consumption norms.
Depending on the period when gas consumption is considered constant, the fluctuations are subdivided into seasonal, daily and hourly. When compiling a combined daily consumption curve for all the consumers, the maximum hourly flow rate is defined and then gas supply systems for cities and settlements are projected.
